Two tips for preparing for summer:
1. Keep your computer in good working condition. How? Two simple ways: turn it off each night and dust it! Computers overheat if there is no ventilation. Following these two golden rules will save you from this trouble.
2. Save your files on a thumb drive. Delete them from the computer in your room. You might not have the same computer next year, or it might crash. This way you have a back-up. If you use a Mac, save your files on your user account. Then your files are available on each Mac in the building. Exception: video files. Those you must store on an external hard drive OR on a local computers (use Teacher, Student or Admin accts). Once you RENDER the video it can be stored as a single file on your Mac account.
