where do i get books?

Welcome back to in-person!! We have about 7K books, arranged by TOPIC and GENRE in our CAS Library (Rm. 407). You are welcome to come and borrow books. There are also books in many classrooms and offices–check out Rooms 206, 305, 304, 504, 405, 505 and 403.

You can search our library catalog to see if we have a book, audiobook, or ebook that you want. If you don’t find one, browse using a keyword, request a title, and/or check our digital collections:

Visit our CAS Virtual Library 24/7. We have two platforms, MackinVIA (which is accessible through our online catalog) and Sora. To add even more titles on Sora, people who work or go to school in NYC can get free accounts in all three library systems and access those collections for on SORA by “adding” libraries. Email lissa@cityas.org if you do not have your DOE login info. I’ll get it to you. There are so many reasons to get back into reading…
